We value the trust of our students and partner institutions above all else. That’s why we are committed to maintaining the highest level of integrity at all times.
We strive to be transparent about our business practices, pricing, and interview process, as detailed in our Statement of Ethics.
We believe in promoting access and levelling the playing field. Through our interviews, we aim to offer students the opportunity to showcase their true talents in a way that is fair, accurate, and unbiased.
Our statement of ethics is an extension of our core values, and a public declaration of the practices that drive our mission
Our official partners are secondary schools and universities. In order to help students and parents better understand our interviews, we will hold presentations and related activities. However, Xtraview does not provide interview training, application consulting, or engage in any other activities that would compromise the justice and fairness of the interviews.
Details of our prices are available here. Other than additional charges for (a) changing interview times and (b) rush processing there are no additional charges for our interviews and writing samples.
These interview fees are our sole sources of revenue. We do not have financial relationships with any training companies, independent educational consultants, or agents.
Interview Rules & Guidelines
The Xtraview interview is live, unscripted, and unedited. It is meant to simulate an interview just like an admissions officer would conduct. The writing sample is timed and monitored, ensuring that it truly is a student’s original work. This ensures the validity and accuracy of the final recorded interview and writing sample.
Institutions receive the interview in its entirety (with one “Highlight Question” selected by the candidate). Nothing is removed; nothing is edited. It is up to the discretion of admissions officers to review the interview as they see fit.
If a student wants to do an interview again, they must wait 30 days and have to pay for the interview again. Only the most recent interview is provided to institutions. This helps to maintain the credibility and rigour of our interviews.
